I am in a state of mind I can only describe as nerd-thrill. A wonderful book has come my way: Afrikan Alphabets, The story of writing in Afrika and this is my drawing of the Gola Alphabet taken from the book), which no one seems to know much about, except that these are the letters. This book also includes paintings and other art inspired by, or incorporating some of the writing systems featured in the book. I LOVE IT. I lurve it.
